My name is Christy, and I am a snack-o-holic.

A few years ago, I found myself feeling very underwhelmed by the selection of savoury snacks available in shops. They are either heavily processed and full of additives, as in the case of chips, or simply plain and uninspiring (salted peanuts or honey roasted almonds, anyone?).

Having previously worked as a pastry cook, I thought I could do better.
I longed for snacks that taste amazing; snacks that are indulgent, but made without the junk that is science lab additives and ingredients. I wanted to make snacks using only ingredients from the pantry, and better yet, using locally sourced, gourmet ingredients where I can find them. And I wanted to pack each bite with as much flavour as they will take.
